Chocolates and toys for Christmas are filling up whole alleys in the shops already, and the radio has already been promoting Christmas since the beginning of the week, two months ahead of the actual day. OK for those who like to get their festive shopping done early, but still a bit soon.

That's nothing.  For my Nan and one of my aunts, its been a tradition for them for as long as I can remember -- the day after Christmas they go to the M&S Boxing Day sales and buy all their presents for next Christmas!  Its easy to know what to give them for Christmas -- M&S vouchers.
