Ooh, how lovely, Jamboree - you've been to Machu Picchu. 
Is that you in those videos?
Machu Picchu is one place that I've always wanted to visit.
We almost went there one year, but ended up going to Brazil instead. It was the year of the '9/11' happening (2001) and we were due to fly back home the next day, but of course there were no planes to be had at that time and all the airports were closed anyway. Everywhere was in turmoil and nobody knew what was happening ... We were transferred to another hotel resort - a fabulous 5-star complex in the north-east region of Recife, where we had to stay indefinitely until a plane could be found - and staff to fly it etc. They eventually dug up an old Russian Aeroflot contraption which obviously hadn't been in use for many years, the seats were falling to bits and there were no refreshments at all available. We all got given a plastic cup and every now and then the flight staff (who had obviously been dragged out of their beds unexpectedly, and didn't want to be there at all), would pass by and pour in a limited amount of water into our cups. Vague promises of the water supply being replenished when and if we managed to stop of anywhere to refuel. Eventually got clearance to refuel in Tenerife, but we were stuck there for another four hours (not allowed to get off the plane) before we got clearance to take off again for onward travel back to England, when the airports were eventually opened. An unforgettable trip in more ways than one.

Not me Kitkat, but I have traversed Peru and done the same treks similar to the folk in the videos.
