Impossible? (Philip Escoffey)
Coming soon to our screens ...
The host of the TV show Impossible?, Philip Escoffey, talks here about the show:
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/interviews/a318533/philip-escoffey-impossible.html
If you missed it first time round, we'll soon have a chance (some time in the Autumn I believe) to see it again on television, together with some 'celebrity special' episodes. I'm really looking forward to that.

Re: Impossible? (Philip Escoffey)
The Celebrity series of "Impossible" starts tomorrow night (Wednesday) 11:00 pm, Channel 5.
Brian Dowling will be one of the first contestants
Brian was asked - After taking part in this series does he now believe in magic?
His reply: "You cannot let this guy Philip Escoffey into your mind — he got into my mind and when he had finished with mine he got into Josie Gibson's. I shudder to think how traumatised HE WAS after it all.
"I'm still very dubious. I'm sceptical. But I believe in giving money to charity."
There's a sneak VIDEO PREVIEW

The Illusionists
I can't wait for this show to reach the UK.
Singapore to Be Spell-Bound by the World Premiere of the Illusionists
Thursday, 9 February 2012

Marina Bay Sands to showcase a spectacular celebration of the art of magic by five of the most innovative illusionists working today.
The Sands Theater at Marina Bay Sands will be transformed on 17 February, 2012 into a magician’s playground for a family-friendly show which will feature seven of the world’s most-respected performers in the field. The Illusionists will enact large scale, mind-bending acts of optical illusion, many of which have never been seen before. Tickets for the show go on sale 8 December 2011.
Originally developed for the Sydney Opera House in Australia, the hand-picked cast of international illusionists - Dan Sperry, Brett Daniels, James Dimmare, Phillip Escoffey and Andrew Basso (with more acts to be announced) - will transform any outdated notion of what a magic show is. Shrugging off the idea of magic as a solo pursuit these artists will come together for the first time, with their assembled cast of 20 sidekicks, to perform a powerful and heady mix of their most outrageous and unbelievable acts.
This group of world-class performers take their cue from the showmanship of the great illusionists of the past - such as Harry Houdini – and pair it with a new and updated contemporary aesthetic, whose set and costume design will lend the genre a theatricality and artistry that has rarely been seen before.
Illusion Director Brett Daniels said, “It is a privilege to be involved in The Illusionists – a show that will unite these performers from around the world for the first time. They are at the very top of their game and the audience is going to be left speechless when they see some of the things these artists are able to achieve.”
Audiences will witness a nail-biting Russian roulette, jaw droppings acts of levitation, mind-reading, disappearance acts and escapes for Marina Bay Sands’ first comprehensive exploration of the genre of magic.
From The Magic Circle and Hollywood’s Magic Castle to the multi-million dollar Harry Potter franchise, the world of illusion and intrigue has always fascinated people. This production will present a rare opportunity for audiences of all ages to see the grand masters of illusion at work in one spell-binding production.
The Marina Bay Sands Theaters are set to dazzle audiences with the latest state-of-the-art technology that allow a multitude of stage configurations and a seamless set-change for all performances. The Illusionists is among the spectacular array of concerts and performances that has been planned to be held at the theaters.
