Searching for Utopia? Empty Searching for Utopia?

Hmmm ... she's not looking for much, is she? Rolling Eyes   Just everybody's ideal dream of the perfect life! pirat  Well, mine anyway ....   Searching for Utopia? Cool

Found posted in the Expat Blog:

    http://www.expat-blog.com/en/housing/europe/ireland/44-land-for-sale/280166-looking-to-purchase-land-in-a-rural-area.html

Looking to purchase land in a rural area of Ireland

I am looking to come from America to settle on some land where I can live, have animals and grow some vegetables, flowers, fruit and herbs. 10 to 20 acres would be preferred. I would hope to find an arrangement where I could pay cash down and then make a monthly payment towards ownership. I would like there to be water on the land and able to at some point link up to electricity or gas and have access at some point to the internet and a telephone. My e mail is butlercate1@gmail.com Cathleen Butler is my name. Photos would be appreciated.

She could probably find something in the ads herself if she put in the time to look, especially via internet, but seems she wants somebody else to do all searching and paperwork for her, without having to pay an agent to do it.

Maybe she'll get lucky though... costs her nothing to try.

However, her "ideal life" won't stay that way for long if she doesn't put in all the hard work her project entails (gardening, taking care of animals, etc).

I wonder how she'll get on.

If you look more into that website link there is another wierd post under the Jobs in Ireland section.

Something very fishy about this. I don't think too many employers would be rushing to offer employment to this person based on that dodgy looking CV.

I am looking for employment in Ireland (anywhere would do).

I resigned from the South African Police Service as a Captain

Doesn't say why she resigned.  Big question mark   Question

Also "If anyone know about someone I can contact (trustworthy Agent or Immigration Lawyer) as I want to relocate as soon as possible."

    Hmm

WHY such an urgent need to relocate as soon as possible, and to a different country far away?  I think the alarm bells would be ringing very loudly for anyone reading that request for employment.  I might be right off the mark here but can't help feeling there's something mighty suspicious behind it.

I don't really see why alarm bells should be ringing, Whiskers.  It's not her official CV that she's presenting in front of a prospective employer - she's broadly putting the feelers out on a public forum and most likely trying to contain as much info as possible in that initial request.  She may well have a very definite and personal reason for resigning her job and wanting to move away; could be a bereavement in her family, illness, - it could be that she's just reached a stage where she's just fed up with her life as it is right now - it could well be something that's naturally and reasonably explainable under normal terms and within the confines of a legitimate interview, but it's perfectly understandable (I would say) that she doesn't go into what may be very personal life details in an initial approach on an expat forum.
