'Masked men have robbed two Qatari women and their driver on a motorway north of Paris, taking valuables worth €5m (£4.5m; $5.6m)'

The section of the motorway where the robbery took place is favoured by criminals targeting luxury cars or wealthy-looking foreigners stuck in traffic jams:

alien  Am I wrong in not being able to find too much sympathy for the 'victims' in these highway robberies(?)

I mean ... for goodness sake! - carrying around a handbag containing £3.6 million worth of jewels ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-32337721 ); shrug
A Saudi prince convoy of cars, with 250,000 Euros in cash, on its way to pick up its private jet back to Saudi ... ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-28832868 ); Neutral
and this latest one, two sisters just arrived from Qatar - in their chauffeur-driven Bentley with valuables worth £4.5m ... hanged  .

Sorry, but I just can't find it in my heart to feel anything near sympathy or care for the woes inflicted upon these 'victims'.  Life-changing traumatic experiences?  Hardly ... judge

They must have so much money that a million for them is like £100 to us, and they have so much more at home that they don't much care anyway. It's just a slight nuisance to them, apart from the stress of the attack itself.

More money than sense to carry that much around and why do it anyway? Don't they have bank cards in their countries?
