    Found this interesting and informative place about Migraine.
    I can relate to nearly all of the symptoms and conditions mentioned.
    Some of them I already knew were related to Migraine, but wasn't aware of the others until reading this.
    All fits into place now.

    No. 12 says "There are no medications on the market that were specifically developed for the prevention of migraines." I wonder if that just relates to the States (?), because I have seen (and tried) in the past, a product called something like 'Migralieve' which comes in a colour-coded 3-fold tablet form: One coloured tablet is supposed to be taken as soon as you get the 'warnings' that a migraine is on the way, a different colour to be taken in the middle of it, and then another colour which (possibly, can't remember exactly ....) to be taken in the aftermath ...

    Migraleve is the brand name of a range of migraine-relief medications made by Pfizer.

    There are two variants of Migraleve: Yellow and pink, which both contain the analgesics paracetamol and codeine. The yellow variant is designed to address the symptoms of headache and discomfort, whilst the pink variant also addresses symptoms of nausea and vomiting. Recently, a third Migraleve variant was released, Migraleve Ultra, which contains sumatriptan.

    The pink tablet is supposed to be taken before the yellow tablet.

    Thanks, Whiskers. Yes, I thought as much. The links that I posted relate to America.
    There seems to be a huge difference in health matters and the way they are dealt with between the UK and the US. I mean ... where else but America are you going to get a whole week dedicated solely to headaches! scared Yes, they even have an annual National Headache Awareness Week.. wtfcat

    Saying that, though, medical costs, professional care, health insurance and competitive drug companies most likely play a large part in the making up the difference between health care in the US and the UK.

    We in the UK, on the other hand, have always been extremely fortunate and privileged to not only have made available to every citizen the most excellent health care services in the world, but to have these privileges for free. All that is changing now though and I think it likely that the day will come, not too far off in the distant future, that the American ways will come here. It's started already with the closing down and selling off of many of the country's hospitals, GP surgeries and other specialised areas. Destination privatization is not a happy route.
