I must have seen that one nigh on a hundred times and it still has me in stitches every time.
If you were brought up convent-educated in Ireland as I was, both primary and secondary (for the lads - as was the case with Dave Allen - secondary would be the Christian Brothers), it's all the more funnier because you can identify with so much of what he says in that sketch; it's exactly how it was then ... right from the beginning - the [really scary for a little child] sound and sight of the nuns creeping up behind you and - flapping ..... chair
