You must watch this wonderful little video about the scrambled borders of Baarle divided between Belgium and The Netherlands. The narrator on this one is very good.


Definitely a place to visit.  catlick

Stanstead, Canada and Derby Line, Vermont, USA, form one town with a border which cuts straight through some buildings, including the library, and some houses (...a family might cook dinner in the United States and eat it in Canada...)!.

Never used to cause any problems, but now ...

I am so enjoying hearing about these crazy border lines.  They are so utterly ridiculous - as to be quite hilarious, and really should be saved for prosperity at least and preserved in the annals of history.  nuts
