Woman discovers online bingo friend is long-lost sister of 35 years

A woman from Teesside has discovered that her best friend of eight years from an online bingo site is actually the sister for whom she has been searching for 35 years.

Elaine Walker was adopted at eight weeks old, and only learned aged 25 that she had a sister, who she had never met.

How nice for them to find out the truth. I like to think that they had divine intervention.happyheart

Definately something more than chance or coincidence for that to happen. surprised   KitKat would say its synchronity.  Would you KK?  I would say that too. flower

Oh definitely ... synchronicity in action! yes nod   I will use my favourite saying there - It was meant!   Wink

If only people would stop a while and take note of the 'signs', they would realise that these synchronistic happenings occur everywhere throughout our lives - sometimes it's only with hindsight that it becomes clear.

Incidentally, there's a marked synchronicity in this week's Movie of the Week (based on a true story) which I'm about to post up now in The Cinema here.  I wonder if anyone can spot it(?)
