Today's tune is 'Save The Last Dance For Me' - (The Drifters)

I saw these guys way back in my club-going days - in one of my favourite haunts, 'Baileys' in Watford:

Some other performers that I saw there during its heyday:  David Essex, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Gladys Knight & The Pips, The Four Tops ...  Aah, the good ol' days. Very Happy

I know this is not the right place, but a while ago, I came across a pic I took in Henley, 2002.  Thought it appropriate.

Is that just a memorial stone at Henley, bimbow?  Dusty Springfield's ashes were scattered over the Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare in Ireland.  (Although born in England, her family was Irish as Irish could be).

ETA: Could that actually be shamrock to the left of that memorial stone in your pic? I think it is. Very Happy

Born in west Hampstead, of all places!

Springfield's funeral service was attended by hundreds of fans and people from the music business, including Elvis Costello, Lulu, and Pet Shop Boys. It was a Catholic funeral, which took place in Oxfordshire, at the ancient parish church of St. Mary the Virgin, in Henley-on-Thames, where Springfield had lived during her last years. A marker dedicated to her memory was placed in the church graveyard.[146] Springfield was cremated and some of her ashes were buried at Henley, while the rest were scattered by her brother, Tom Springfield, at the Cliffs of Moher, County Clare, Ireland.

After that sidetrack, today's song is
Tommy Edwards - It's All In The Game

Didn't know the artist's name, but recognised the lyrics and did a search.
