five balls of fire in Arizona sky
We were driving home from hiking for the day on 09/22/12 @7:30 AZ time. Stopped at store and was able to video record something crazy happening in sky. There were five or six fire balls dancing in the sky making triangle shapes and swirling thru sky. Going through one an other disappearing and than reappearing. It lasted for about two mins. Was able to get phone to record it but was only able to pick up three of the balls of light on video. It was nothing I have ever seen before honestly scared me a lot..

    meteor
my daughter and i were walking up lodge lane toxteth liverpool uk towards the shop and something came flying through air i said to my daughter omg look at that to which she replied wow it must be some kind of firework ,it looked as if it was a special effect from a movie or something it was travelling fairly fast and it seemed to be like a very large ball of fire not sure how to explain it but seemed asif there was like smoke or something following directly behind it may have just been that it was travelling at such speed it was simply a trace it seemed as though it was just above the houses yet im sure it must have been higher we both watched for possibly 30/40 seconds as it dissapeared out of sight so we took a few more steps and it seemed to just simply crumble in the air it was truly amazeing i have never seen anything like it atall i tried to take a quick pic on my mobile but to be honest the pic doesnt seem to do it justice as in pic just looks like an object in sky but in reality it genuinly was much much larger and brighter.(it was roughly between 10.50pm/10.55pm

We saw something similar here in AZ it seemed like a falling star in slow motion with a tail and dropping downwards as if it were in two parallel lines . They looked as if they were changing rotation .. very starange for us. Happened around 7:30 PM 9/22/12. I got a picture of it but it just looks like lights in the sky or even stars in the sky.

    Lights in sky over Liverpool
Hi, myself and my two boys have just noticed orange and red streaks of light over Liverpool about an hour ago. They looked like a plane of fire, however we could not hear any noise. Has anyone else noticed this

Strange Lights in the sky Co.Meath Ireland
11.10 GMT. 21/09/2012 Very strange formation of lights spotted tonight. Sky very clear (no light pollution here). Formation was 2 x lines of 3 x orange lights. Lines parallell with one line slightly offset to the other. No noise as lines passed over. Hard to say how high they were - they seemed low but cannot be certain. Would be interested to hear reports if anyone else saw them/

FORMATION ALSO SPOTTED OVER BUSHMILLS CO ANTRIM
    11.00 GMT 21/09/2012

Similar formation witnessed in the sky above the village heading north westernly, close to the North Antrim coast towards Portrush. Consisted of two lines of multiple orange lights some of which appeared to flare and then extinguish. A friend and I reckon it was a meteor shower which has been confirmed on the BBC.

saw orange lights - just points of light -as you describe, around same time, in clontarf in Dublin, but there were more than 3 in each row - didn't count, but guess 6 or 7

    Strange Lights in Sky
I seen those lights too, they started off low, me and my friends thought they were ballons with lights in because they were maybe about 2meters about a 3 storey building. The formation kept changing, then they suddenly picked up speed and height and ended up higher than a plane that was crossing the sky at the time too. There were also some shooting stars. I live in Utrecht and seen them on 15th September.

    orange lights!!
My daughter and i just saw a bunch of orange lights similar to what others here have already described. They were travelling at about the speed of an aeroplane coming into land as someone described earlier. We saw them for about 2mins then they disappeared. This was in Ballycastle, Northern Ireland, 22.56pm, Friday 21 September 2012.

    Strange Light
Hi - I am near York in the UK and just saw a strange light coming in low and fast and quite large with an orange glow - it then broke up and then broke up more and fizzled out - it was beautiful - about 30mins ago (11pm UK Time)

Massive Massive Fireball breaking up over Ireland
Absolutely massive Fireball/Meteor with hugh trail just streaked across the skies over Dublin Ireland, I could see flaming lumps flying off it and not burning out too quick either. I could clearly see it was very very big, I unfortunately did'nt manage to record it. Anyone know what this was?. I have never seen something so massive travelling for so long over our skies, except in Sci-fi movies. Wow, still shaking!! It was quite terrifying. John W. Dublin 24.

Orange fireball in the sky, Colorado Springs
I went to the king soopers on south academy, on the way home, at about 7:30 my wife pointed at something in the sky. It looked like an orange ball of fire with a long fire tail on it. It was west in direction, and about 45 degrees in angular height, traveling downward. It seemed to disappear after about two minutes.

    Orange Lights over London, Ontario
At about 10:15 pm on Friday night my daughter came running into my room telling me there were bright orange lights in the sky. I went to the window and watched a total of 13 bright orange lights, They looked like they were coming up to the sky from the west, one by one. One of the lights even seperated into two. All of a sudden as they got closer to the sky they just disappeared in a flash. The most bizarre thing i have ever witnessed. We went outside to see if we could hear anything. There was no sound at all. They were triangle shaped and bright orange.

    BRIGHT FIERY ORANGE OBJECT FLYING...
In Fremont, California at about 9:40pm on the night of September 15, 2012...
I was outside in the backyard with a friend when we noticed a fiery orange object flying slowly overhead. At first i thought it was an airplane that, but then i thought it too strange to be an airplane, or helicopter or anything. It was not on any of the usual paths that i see planes flying on around here. But then i noticed it was totally bright orange, so i thought maybe it was an aircraft that had caught fire and was going down. It looked as if it would crash on top of us. It was moving at about the speed of an airplane about to land. I noticed there were no blinking lights whatsoever, and the only color was the bright orange fire that engulfed the whole of the object. to my friend, it appeared to be shaped like a lampshade. as it continued toward the horizon, the orange light began to flicker off and on for couple seconds, then went totally dark. But the object was still faintly visible even without the glow. It appeared also to be travelling much faster than it did when it was still lit up. Then it disappeared from from our view. It never made a sound the whole time we saw it, and it lasted maybe about 2 to 3 minutes.

saw the same in niagara falls ont. on sat. sept 15th/12about 8pm
We were a group of 8 people sitting outside at about 8pm or so. (night had just fallen) we noticed 1 orange/yellowish glowing sphere travelling from north to south below clouds, it almost looked like a fire ball at first but as it got closer we realized it was more of a craft of somesort the glow almost looked transparent. It flew directectly above us maintaining the same speed and trajectory & never made a single sound. we live in the country and if it had been a known aircraft we would have heard something or it would at least have strobes but it was totally quiet and only that strange glow. As it flew south it eventualy faded from view. about 5 minutes later another one flew over us and about 1 minute after that another 3 then finally 1 more. They were all following the identical flight path straight line one behind the other. I see planes and helecopters in the sky all the time but these were not like anything i have ever seen before. it almost resembled something re-entering the atmosphere but there was no tail and the glow was contained to itself and as i said it was below the clouds and travelling horizontally meaning it maintained the same altitude and very quiet. pretty weird..almost eiry... i feel better now knowing we wer'nt the only one's that seen this.

Bright orange glowing "vessel" flying over fergus ontario
On Sept 12 around 8pm my wife and i , as well as at least 8 people on our street witnessed a large orangish object pass over head in a straight flight pattern at a very low altitude, so low i could make it out quite clearly... Almost looked like a huge floating candle lantern at first, like it was on fire..the light was being emitted from within it..was spnerical in shape with an elgonated top (resembling shape of a parachute).. It travelled straight and did not go up nor down and went about speed of plane... Followed its path for at least a minute before it faded out of sight.

Guest (not verified) on Sat, 15/09/2012 - 23:13
I have been searching for someone else who saw this object, although I live in burlington, and it was around 7 30, on the same date I witnessed it, your description fits it perfectly, the speed and trajectory sound very similar as well as the glow, I have described as almost looking like glowing hot metal or something. I watched the object from my balcony and saw it slowly dim and could then see a completely unlit object that resembled a shapless metal blob, or a very thick cloud of smoke, the object was travelling west-east along the shores of lake ontario, and looked like it fell/landed/crashed into the lake, I would love to know what kind of meteore, or other natural phenomena this may have been.

    Meteorite
Could be the same one I saw last night, in the Orlando, FL area. Flying northward, a large orange fireball, with an orange sparkling tale of flame. About 10:30 pm, as I was setting up my telescope for an evening of stargazing. An amazing sight!

saw two objects in the sky
Tonight while walking my dogs I saw what 2 objects which I thought might have been plane or helicopter at first but the light was wrong and no noise. The more I looked, the more I realized it must have been meteors and very far off,. They were orange glowing as though they were burning up and faded out within seconds of each other. I live near Dayton Ohio but just outside of city limits. It was wonderful to see, but wondered were they actually were.

    Red glowing ball
I also saw something tonight. I was visiting family in Hillsboro , Ohio. It was a red glowing light. It was not moving much at all, maybe alittle side to side. but mostly just hovering. I only saw it for a minute or two but Grandma saw it before that. To large to be a plane and wasnt making noise. Than it just disappeared. My Grandma and Uncle also saw it. No explaination???

    "Green Lightning?
Green/turquoise flashes and/or changing colors: A flash of light in the sky that lingers, pulses and/or changes colors is not lightning, but electrical arcing from shorted-out power lines. These arcs are called 'power flashes' and can be triggered by a variety of severe weather - including ice storms, high winds, tornadoes, or by a direct lightning strike. Electrical arcing, whether caused by lightning, ice or wind damage, is very intense, can be as bright as lightning, can illuminate the entire sky and can change color from blue, green, turquoise, red and orange. When lightning strikes an energized power line, an electrical flashover arc can result. Lightning-triggered flashover arcs usually begin during the strike and linger for a few seconds after the strike is over. See our article about flashover arcs for a more in-depth look.

Power flashes are often incorrectly referred to as 'exploding transformers'. Only a few power flashes are actually transformer explosions - most are caused by shorted-out lines due to broken, crisscrossed or fallen wires. "

Falling ball of fiery light in Irvine - few minutes past 8 PM
I was driving south on 5 freeway in the third lane in from the carpool and observed a ball of fiery light falling from above to the immediate left, just outside the windshield. It was a few minutes past 8 PM this eve. I was passing Jeffrey's exit and approaching Sand Canyon, and this fiery light was east and slightly south of my position. I only saw it as it passed down into my windshield vision. I observed a long tail of light streaming behind the fireball, and the motion was straight down so I expect it crashed. I could not see if/where it fell due to the freeway traffic headed northbound.

I watched for maybe a second and a half before it disappeared, and it was moving FAST, as if free-falling from a high distance. It was over by the time I was processing I had just seen something! From my position in the car, the ball was about the size of a quarter without including the tail, which streamed up to 5 inches behind the ball's center. I peeked out my door window to see if a plane or helicoptor was above, but could not really look around safely so I quickly gave up.

At first I thought it fell into the Great Park area but it fell before the Sand Canyon exit so that is not where it landed. The giant orange ballon was not up tonight so I had limited perception of the specific location due to darkness, but I could see the street lights of the new construction along Portola from the freeway so the object fell between the freeway and Portola, between Jeffrey and Sand Canyon, in front of the mountains.

Where this odd sight occured is not in direct line with flight paths for John Wayne Airport; it is a brand new housing development. I never heard anything, but the windows were up while I was doing 70 and rocking out. Did anyone else see this? I'm thinking a samll meteor or debris from a helicoptor or plane...

I thought about exiting the freeway to look for it, but I had already passed Sand Canyon when this occurred to me, and it was a loooong day at work so I went home. It's been a few hours since I saw it, so I am looking on the internet to see if anyone else saw the same thing.

    Falling red ball from sky
I was driving home from work around 11:55 pm and I was on the 91 fwy going westbound. To my left I seen a red light in the sky but thought that it was a helicopter. As I exited the fwy on Brookhurst in Anaheim I was able to still see but this time since I was driving towards La Palma southbound I was driving towards it. I kept glancing at it because it was too bright to be a helicopter and it remained still the whole time. I thought it was maybe hoovering over an area, like a news helicopter. When I got to my driveway and parked, I kept my eye on it just trying to see what it was. I thought that is not a helicopter. I then seen what looked like flares drop down from it. They dropped very slow. I thought it was indeed an aircraft that just blew up towards Orange, Santa Ana area. Then I thought maybe it's a bomb, mind you these thoughts going through my head, the flares are still dropping, like 3 flares but just slowly from the object. I went inside, by this time I felt my heart pounding. I can hear the TV in my daughters room so I told her to come outside with me, tell me if you see what I just saw. She came out and there was nothing there anymore. I looked all around the sky and it was gone. Since I got home I have been looking online trying to see if anyone else seen this.

    Large greenish blue fire ball
A large greenish, more blue, like the color of natural gas flame; falling from the sky in a downward straight motion. Broke into three smaller peices traveling at high velocity west in the sky. Aproximatly 10:34 pm EST. Viewed from Muskegon Michigan. Approximately 1/4 " in size from my view. Much larger than any meteor I have ever seen. Was not a firework

Bright orange light, almost thought it could be a plane.
I spotted this bright orange light while lifting weights with my boyfriend. At first I thought it was a plane, but then I noticed the coloring, and the fact that there were no flashy lights. Also, it seemed pretty distant but was still too big to be a plane or helicopter. I then pointed it out to my boyfriend, and we stood and watched. It stood where it was for a good minute, finally at a halt from moving towards us, and seemed to reverse, getting smaller and smaller till it disappeared. It went north and up into the atmosphere getting dim to the point where we just couldn't see it anymore. We're in ft.lauderdale, Florida.

South Devon, UK, 22:20. Just about to close the velux windows for the night when I looked to the west and noticed a bright orange ball in the sky, much larger than a star, and lower down in the sky than most stars. It did seem to be moving slightly, only just detactably at first, but then some more, in a slightly diagonal-downward fashion. It then became dimmer and dimmer until it was nothing more than a pinprick before disappearing altogether. This took about a minute from when I first noticed it.

There was a report on Paranormal Witness about some sightings just like those ones. I never know how genuine or maybe exagerated those TV programmes are though. Some of them are so scary. I like to think maybe they're not true. chair That one said that there was this huge bright light that blinded them too, and their car just went dead and all their phones. wary
