Save the pennies-----

Post by Stardust on 27th May 2011, 11:21

... because even the beggars don't want them these days!

Useful tip:
Place your saved pennies in a glass bottle up to half way and leave inside the front and/or back door of the house before going to bed. This will serve as an alarm to alert you if a burglar (or anyone else) opens the door, since the bottle will fall over and the pennies clattering inside will make such a noise that the intruder will flee without even crossing the threshold.

It takes two ...

Doesn't matter if you don't hear because the intruder will have such a shock he'll run away as fast as he can... unless you have the misfortune to get a second intruder on the same night (who'll find the door still open...).
