This is an excellent website I came across.  Similar to e-bay - except it's all FREE!  Anything goes.  On offer anything from bubble wrap to 3-piece suites and HD televisions.  But you need to be quick because it's normally a case of first-come-first-served.  Also, if you have anything you no longer have need for, or maybe haven't got the room for - advertise it on there.  It will be snapped up in no time.

There will be a Group in your area (they're all over the place).  Find the one that suits you (I've joined two) and away you go.

The Freecycle Network™️ is made up of 4,930 groups with 8,309,036 members around the world. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by local volunteers (them's good people). Membership is free.

Oh yes it is - and it's grown.

I have since acquired quite a few treasured items through FreeCycle - including a Combi TV/DVD recorder, computer chair, 3-wheeler rollator, a quirky bookshelf ... and there's a heap of things that I would've gone for if I had the fitting transport to collect - like a fab fully working piano that was going begging(!), there's often sofas and things like that crop up (they show photos, so you know exactly what to expect)....

Really, that site is the best thing since sliced bread.  A1
