KRAZY KATS

Welcome to Krazy Kats - a friendly informal discussion forum: Talk about anything from birth to death - and beyond!

The Video of the Week now showing on Light After Life forum is: 'HUMAN'
I hope everyone is safe from the rages of Ophelia. Not forgetting the poor frightened animals too. xx
Hearing all the stories here. 3 people have died so far in Ireland with trees hitting cars. Can't for the life of me understand why anyone would venture out in a car in a hurricane!!!
A really strange golden hue in the atmosphere here in London. And a weird but slightly familiar smell in the air - reminds me of just before a sandstorm in Libya.

Man rescues cat from London Docks

Post by Kitkat on Mon 01 May 2017, 14:49

Headline:

CCTV footage captures the moment a passer-by saved Felix the cat after she fell into the Thames.

Now, the real story:

1)  The cat didn't just fall into the Thames - it was actually chased there, by another cat, a quite deliberate action by the looks of it surprised Of course, we don't know the details of what went before that happening, and what Felix might have done to deserve being chased into the river by an obviously very irate feline.... (perhaps he had been caught messing around with the other cat's mate, or stealing his dinner, or doing his business in his garden ...  Who knows .... ;

2)  Well done to that lovely caring man for acting so quickly and humanely to fish out Felix from the river, but I really think he underestimated the natural survival resources of perhaps the whole feline community.  Had the man not been around at that moment to do his good deed for the day, Felix would have been well able to get himself out of that sticky situation without any help from outside.  You can see in the video he was well on his way to doing just that - climbing right back up again and heading off to seek safety from his chaser.  giggle

Visions of the chaser cat lying in wait for the bicycle man, ready to pounce round next corner and send him off on his bike hurtling down into the river.  obgob  pirat  giggle
