Log-in

Not a problem as such, more a suggestion, KitKat.

It would be easier and quicker for us to log-in if the 'log-in and password' box was directly on the portal page as with most other forums.

At the moment we first have to click on 'LogIn' in the bar at the top of the page and only then does the box appear.

Hi Stardust,

The LogIn box is already there on the Portal page (top lefthand side, just under the Guest Book).

Okay, I just realised ... it could be mistaken to look as though that is the log-in place for the Guest Book. To avoid that confusion, I will change them around soon as I get a chance.

I could never see that because I bookmarked the forum directly and not
the portal page, so the log-in box didn't appear. I'll have to change
the bookmark.

Stardust, you are not very observant.

There's also a quick log-in bar down the bottom of the Forum main page.

I just opened a new window and checked and there isn't any 'quick log-in bar' on my main forum page (even if there were I couldn't be bothered with scrolling down every time I want to log-in!). There's no problem now I've bookmarked the Portal page anyway.

I checked a second time with Shockwave Flash reactivated but, honestly KitKat, there's still no such thing on my forum main page. Weird, why would you have it and not me? Shocked

What about you, Feather - do you have the 'quick log-in bar' or not?
