Feather by the sea.
It's so peaceful here tonight. I can see the lights of The Flotta Oil Terminal across Scapa Flow, on the horizon. All the birds have gone to roost and the silence is magical. The only sound is the tap tapping of my keyboard as I type. A black and a ginger cat have both made use of my window cill in the peaceful twilight. I wouldn't wish to be anywhere else in the world right now.

What an evocative description for your first blog post, Feather.
I can see it all as if I were there too.

At last I've got the car of my dreams--a Fiat 500. It's retro styled, creamy white, red/white upholstery, red carpets, cream dashboard, cream leather steering wheel. I've put my personal number plates on it---M15 YRA--- with "FIAT" attatched. The finishing touches are 3 understated red decals, 1 on the bonnet and 1 each side just behind the back windows. Their design is Tribal.Chica's cushion, collar and lead are also red and, of course, she's pure white. My friend, Jean asked me if I realised that I'd be able to wear only red or white when I drive it!
I love it, love it, love it. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

The ultimate accessory, Feather !
(except ... you're gonna have to die your hair red now - or at least get a red wig for driving)

That's awful, Lar. At least you won't have to pay to put it right, will you?
