That'll be the Hitchcock Effect (The Birds).  cheesy

There is a huge mural on the whitewashed wall of a Sainsbury's forecourt near where I used to work -
It's a very realistic depiction of a line of crows perched all the way across, high up on what looks like a telegraph wire between two posts.   surprised
I think the idea is to keep the pigeons away (there used to be notices up around - 'PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE PIGEONS'.
It does seem to work, because there is a tree over in the opposite corner of the forecourt where the pigeons congregate and, depending on the weather, a regular little swimming pool puddle right underneath which they seem to enjoy - but they stick to that corner and you never see any of them out on the forecourt or anywhere near The Crows!

    That's probably it!

Yes, they look amazing but if they swept down on you you'd be buggered!

Fascinating how they all move and turn as one at the very same split second. And they all go home in the evening!!! I wonder if there's any dirty stopouts that haven't returned home to their bed though.  giggle
